Lavender and Lace is a small, boutique-style cattery with a lovely country outlook. We have natural running water through the property from a natural spring attracting lots of wonderful native birds.

Our cats have a lovely garden to run through and are only caged for breeding purposes or at night for safe keeping.

All our cats have been tested for Polycystic Kidney Disease and the cattery takes pride that it is PKD-negative. We do not breed with any cats that are positive.

Kittens are born inside where they are raised with loving care.

We have a boarding area for a limited amount of cats. All breeds are welcome to come and stay with us. They have individual runs and sleeping units as well as a large play area.

Grooming services are also available.

While I was living in Australia I fell in love with the lovely Himalayan Persians.

Their loving and gentle natures make ideal companions around the home. I returned to Auckland in New Zealand in 1995 and continued to breed and show them under the New Zealand Cat Fancy Prefix of LACE.

In 2005, my husband and I moved to a life style property in the Hawkes Bay, in the wonderful wine country area of Napier.

Our first job was to build a cattery for our cats and then the boarding cattery for cats to come and stay.
